I am back!

I am sorry to have been MIA for a few days!  I needed to step back and get my mojo flowing again after the Holidays.  It was a tough time for myself and family even technically this was the second Christmas since my husband’s death we were in such a fog the first holiday.

I am a member of Catherine Poolers StampNation and loving what I am learning there.  If you are not and would like more information please go to. the for information to join.  You won’t regret it as it has been the best money I have ever spent!

This month StampNation is celebrating it’s 5th Birthday!  In celebration Catherine gave members a free class on Stencil Techniques.  The class will be available later on her blog later this winter.  Catherine and the Design Team have shown us awesome ways to use our stencils.  It has been a lot of fun, however I am way behind.  I have only gotten through day 3.  I believe today is day 11 so I have a long way to go.

Today is supposed to be near 60 degrees here in Northern Colorado.  Looking forward to some outside time.  I am in need of new prescription glasses and I am going to check out a few sales at my favorite clothing stores.  I need new jeans as well but I will wait a few weeks on those.  I joined Weight Watchers the beginning of the year and don’t want to buy them until I reach another size.  This past Tuesday I had lost 6.2 lbs in just one week.  I will continue to blog  about my successes and my unsuccessful weeks.

I hope to share some of my cards later this weekend that I have made since the New Year

Thank for all of the wonderful comments!  Also thank you to my new followers.  This week has flown by and I have not been in my Craft room to create.  I started to organize my IKEA Rascog cart but got stuck.  So back to the drawing boardd.  So today I will clear off my workspace and work on the class at StamNation.

We are celebrating StampNations 5th Birthday and members were given access to a new class for free.  What a nice gift!  Thank you Catherine Pooler and congratulation on 5 years of the best place on the net for ideas, inspiration and friendship.

I hope to post a few cards later today or tomorrow.  Right now I am off to get a much needed massage then back to my craftroom.  Wishing you all a wonderful day!

I have never blogged before so I hope you will be patient with me as I stumble around.  I wanted to be able to share my card making, coloring, and painting with my friends and family.  I will probably share some about my life as well.

Since my most recent creations were all Christmas cards I will start there and move forward in 2016.  I used Color Burst for the background and then stamped the trees and sentiment.
